When I created The Color Bar, I wanted to eliminate the hustle and noise that's found in most salons today. I envisioned a beautiful space where you could leave your worries at the door and let your soul rest, all while being pampered and walking out with soft, shiny, healthy hair.

Using the cleanest products available in the United States, I will transform your dull, lifeless and over-processed hair into luxurious shiny locks that work with your lifestyle. I am obsessed with education and absolutely love sharing tips & tricks for healthy haircare.
My focus is shiny, healthy hair and making sure each and every one of my guests is educated in how to properly care for their hair type and extend the life of their color.​

I specialize in:
Color Melting-especially coppers and reds.
Foiling-all things blonding from bold pops to low maintenance sunkissed highlights, grey blending, and making thin hair appear fuller with my strategic signature foil placement.
-Shags and Long hairstyles with lots of movement. My signature cutting techniques will create volume and movement like you've never experienced before.

When I'm not in the studio custom creating color, I can be found spending time with my family and horses on our hobby farm or adventuring deep into the PNW Wilderness.

Hello beautiful friends,
my name is Amelia Mooney. I am the owner of Mooney Hair Co. located inside The Color Bar. I've been creating custom styles for three years or so and it's seriously the dream! I've known I wanted to do hair since elementary school when all of my teachers told my parents "She can't stop touching her or her friend's hair in class".
I specialize in custom color including blonding, foilayage, and grey blending. My favorite is when clients show me inspiration photos and I create a personalized version of that look for them! I thrive in my field and take a lot of pride in my work!
​When not behind the chair, you can usually find me doing outdoorsy things such as camping, hunting, and hiking with my two furry babies and fiance!
